Hands

Thinking of Haiti…

Reaching out to those in dire need

Working hand in hand to help saving lives

Giving a helping hand to heal bodies and minds

Being together hand in hand to reconstruct

Being on hand to listen, comfort, support.

Thank you for pointing out the needs for helping Haiti.
Unfortunately the only way most of us can help, is by donating money.
But that is the least we can do.

Both your words and the sculpture are beautiful.

  2. Not often that one image gets my attention as yours did. You have totally stopped me in my tracks. It’s very strong image technically and conceptually. I am still working out in my mind trough the layers of meaning you have put together so well.Bravo!

What lovely words Isa, we should all spare a thought for those in Haiti and indeed those all over the world who are suffering each day.

    All things nice…

Your words touch my heart… your image speaks so much more than what words can convey. My sincere prayers that aid reaches the people of Haiti quickly.

  5. Carsten, Robert, All things nice and iniyaal, your words touched me more than I can say. I am glad you enjoyed this image and the symbol it represents for me. I remembered this picture I took a while ago while visiting a vitromuseum. These hands express both solidarity and strenght, both very valuable for the people in Haiti right now.
